Father-Daughter Musical Duo EricaJames is how one of the headlines on the Edmond Outlook magazine reads for an article written about EricaJames called, "Father-Daughter Duo find Musical Success" - by Gayleen Langthorn.
I guess success can be measured by many forms and I would like to think that one would be very descriptive of EricaJames in a father-daughter role. The Edmond Outlook Magazine came to see us about publishing this article in February which was quite exciting. It is always a nice thing to be acknowledged by the local media. Even though we haven't had many opportunities to play locally, it helps to let people know that we are here and who we are.
The magazine is distributed to over 50,000 residents in the city of Edmond which we hope will aid in a greater local response to our CD, "Ode to a Gypsy". The article was written by Gayleen Langthorn, a freelance journalist who writes quite often for the Edmond Outlook.

Back Ordered CD's are in! Many of you will be happy to know that our CD's are finally in. We apologize for the delay but thanks to you and everyone that has purchased our CD, "Ode to a Gypsy", the number of CD's we have sold on-line to date have gone far beyond what we would have ever expected. After ordering numerous times we finally decided to order a larger quantity in order to keep them available for on-line sales as well as event sales. Touring has taken us many places that we might not have had an opportunity to visit and we are thankful. We have met some really nice people along the way. Our last trip to New Mexico and Colorado was better than we could have ever expected. The country was beautiful with the winding country roads through the snow covered mountains with views that leave you breathless. We had great turn outs at the venues and exceptional responses to our music. We were fortunate enough to sell out of our remaining CD's which was completely unexpected but a wonderful blessing just the same.
This weekend we will be in Whitehouse Texas playing at the Ren Faire, both Saturday and Sunday. If you're close, please stop by. There will be plenty to do for the whole family.
Some of the states we will be visiting between now and June will be, Texas, Iowa, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina and Kansas. Of course things change over the course of a couple of weeks, so please check our on-line tour schedule for updates often. Hopefully we will be playing somewhere near you soon.

We are working diligently to get the new CD release, "Moments I Remember - Love Songs and Lullaby's" finished this month. We are really excited about this CD. It is going to very different from the Ode to a Gypsy CD which is very raw and a remnant of what began the genre of EricaJames music. Moments I Remember is geared more towards the adult listening crowd (baby boomers) and parents-to-be as the name suggests. There will be added string arrangements and accompaniment on many of the songs.
